Content Filtering

As more kids get to have their own computers in their rooms, I wonder how many parents actually control what they see.  A very simple way of controlling content is to set up parental controls on the router itself.  The video I have created here takes you through the steps needed to set it up on your own router.  It’s based on the Netgear because that’s what I’ve got, but most routers have the same features -- and possibly more.

If you have a different router, then have a look at http://www.routerpasswords.com/ or http://bit.ly/duqAxO for the login information you’ll need.
