Interesting observation about language you make. I haven’t noticed exactly that phenomenon in Swedish, but others, that signal that things are happening with the language. Irregular verb inflexions are gradually replaced by regular . Object forms of pronomina are dropped – e g “I gave him the book” -> “I gave he the book”. Etc etc.
There are several linguists that have written about the gradual changes (I say deterioration) in Swedish – most of them seem to approve, maybe from “political correctness”. Eventually, I fear, few young Swedes will understand what I say.

Thanks Melvin, looks ok, except it’s not free (not expensive though).

What I liked especially about the docu-track was that it keeps everything as it is PDF-wise. So there’s no chance of upsetting some official who’s job is to get upset about these things when it isn’t exactly right.

Adobe Acrobat is awesome but too expensive. It is out of my budget. I convert the PDF form to Word doc then fill it out in Word document. Very fast and easy. http://www.anypdftools.com/pdf-to-word.html

Hi
Never even heard of Mercury even though it’s there everytime you open XAMPP… I must be blind!
I’m trying to get the cforms plugin to send me an email from a local XAMPP WordPress setup.
I’ve not tried your method but I’ve looked at a few methods which involve changing the php.ini file.

Would you say that such methods are valid or should I bite the bullet and use your method.

Hi Madastro,
I’ve not tried it yet myself, but you can edit windows HOST file. This tells your browser that 127.0.0.1 is localhost.

You can call your localhost anything you like, so you can have the line:
127.0.0.1 localhost.com

Let me know if this works for you.

Hi, Thanks for the tutorial, I managed to do the same with XAMPP setup, but hit a little snag. I have a validation system in place so entering just mail@localhost would trigger an error. how do i set it up so that I can also use mail@localhost.com or something to that effect?

Grammar doesn’t exist in books, it exists in each individual’s head. It’s your idiolect. The only thing that makes you intelligible to your neighbour is convention. The further you are away (on all the social and physical levels you can think of) the more likely your idiolect is different. You teach the grammar that is appropriate to the learner’s aspiration.

I am an English teacher in Japan , and I'm from Ireland. Today i told my class of Junior high school students that ''amn't'' is bad grammar. They asked why!! I was stumped and said it was just a rule!! I say ''amn't'' myself but would never write it. They use American English anyway so i think i was correct to say it was wrong but maybe I should have rebelled !!!! But i couldn't tell them ''why'' , i fear the question ''why?'' when trying to teach grammar!!!
